What services do we offer?

POWCH provides a free and confidential Sexual Health Service for all ages. You will not be judged in any way and your concerns will always be dealt with in a sensitive manner.

All methods of contraception are available - condoms, pills, injections, implants, coils, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing and sexual health advice. Limited screening for Sexually Transmitted Infections (including Chlamydia) is available.

You can contact Arrowside Unit for advice or to arrange an alternative appointment if you are unable to be seen at POWCH. Please refer to Arrowside section for appointment times,

When are we open?

Wednesdays 15:30 to 18:00 only

Please note this clinic will be closed on Wednesday 26th December

Please ring 01527 516398 from 08:45 for an appointment on the day.

Please be aware we may not be able to see you on the day and may ask you to see your GP, A&E or suggest you access testing online via sh24.org.uk.

Emergency contraception can be obtained from local pharmacies.
